Moore Named DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Cyler Moore was selected as the Dallas Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

A sophomore first baseman from Fort Worth, Texas, Moore helped the Bears win a three-game series over National Junior College Athletic Association Division III No. 6-ranked Dallas College Richland. He batted .462, going 6 for 13, with a double, triple, home run, three runs batted in, two runs scored and three walks. In a 14-13 win over Richland in the first game of the series, Moore went 2 for 4 with a home run, triple, two RBI and two walks. In the series-clinching 8-7 win, he was 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI. He also had two hits in the Game 2 loss.

In 28 games this season, Moore is batting .324 with four home runs, six doubles, a triple and 15 RBI.

The Bears (25-21, 13-8 DAC) will begin a three-game series at Dallas College Mountain View 12 p.m. Wednesday. The final two games will be played at Brookhaven 12 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
