Ferraro Named DAC Pitcher of Week
IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Noah Ferraro was named the final Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week this season.
A sophomore right-hander from League City, Texas, Ferraro went 5 2/3 innings, allowing one run, four hits and a walk, and struck out three as 15th-ranked Brookhaven beat No. 3 Dallas College Eastfield 5-2 in the second game of a three-game sweep.
Ferraro is 1-2 with one save and a 2.14 earned run average and 33 strikeouts in 16 appearances this season.
Brookhaven (32-24) will host Mountain View (13-38) at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the single-elimination round of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District Tournament.
