Flores Named National Goalie of Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College Brookhaven women's soccer's Brianna Flores was selected as the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Goalie of the Week.

A freshman goalkeeper from McKinney, Texas, Flores recorded back-to-back shutouts last week, while making nine saves in the two victories. She stopped four shots in the 3-0 victory over Dallas College North Lake, and made five saves in the 2-0 win over No. 8 Dallas College Cedar Valley.

Flores (7-2-3) boasts a 0.75 goals against average, .830 save percentage and six shutouts this year.

Brookhaven (7-2-3, 5-0-3 Dallas Athletic Conference) will play at Dallas College Eastfield (4-8-2, 2-4-2) at 7 p.m. Friday.
