Garcia Chosen as DAC Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven's Megan Garcia was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

A freshman forward from Compostela, Mexico, Garcia scored two goals in her debut – a 6-0 win over Cisco College. She attempted five shots during the week, three of which were on goal. It was her first goals of the season.

No. 3 Brookhaven went 2-0-0 during the week.

The Bears (3-1-2, 1-0-0 DAC) plays at No. 9 Dallas College Richland (1-2-0, 1-0-0) at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
