Brookhaven Begins DAC Play Monday
Dallas College Brookhaven opens Dallas Athletic Conference play Monday at Dallas College North Lake.
The Bears, who received votes in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national poll, enter the final weekend of tournament play this weekend at the Blinn Volleyball Invitational before heading to Irving to begin the six-team league play, which runs through Oct. 20.
Brookhaven, which has picked up wins in its last two tournaments, will host its first league match next Thursday when Dallas College Eastfield visits Farmers Branch.
The Bears went 3-7 in conference play a year ago.
The DAC Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 25-29 at the site of the highest seed.
