Men's Hoops Open Second Half of Season Tuesday at Home

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Dallas College Brookhaven men's basketball team will begin a four-game homestand to start the second half of the season Tuesday.

The Bears, who picked up votes in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association Division III rankings, tip off at home against Loyalty College Prep 5 p.m. Tuesday before hosting Dallas Christian College Saturday and Strength 'N Motion next Tuesday.

Brookhaven (9-7) will host Dallas College Cedar Valley Saturday, Jan. 20 to open Dallas Athletic Conference play.

Sophomore guard Curtis Trey Moffett is averaging 14.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Freshman guard Terrell Palmer is averaging 10.4 points, and 1.6 steals. Freshman swingman Richard Adewale-Safa is averaging 9.8 points and 4.5 rebounds. Freshman guard Zach Gomez is scoring 8.9 points, and sophomore forward Jackson Lino 8.8. Gomez averages 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals, and Lino 6.1 rebounds. Freshman guard Grant Jessen is good for 7.3 points and 5.4 boards, and sophomore forward Dirk Falkenhagen 7.1 points.

The Bears have won four in a row entering Tuesday's game. They are 3-2 at home and 5-5 on the road this season.
